The concerned person becomes a candidate for a new LCI member exclusively on the basis of an existing Lions Club member’s invitation who’s obligated to inform the candidate of the Lions Club operational methods, as well as the duties and obligations of the membership.

He must be introduced to the club colleagues, which in accordance with the ordinance of their club, decide about the acceptance of the new member by vote.

After a successful voting, the new member is invited to the next meeting, where he swears a solemn oath, after which he becomes a member of the LCI organisation and receives a certificate and badge.

The existing member, who proposed the new member for acceptance in LCI, accompanies and supports the new member and informs him of the duties and operating methods of his LCI club.
